In the 1800’s sailing ships exchanged ballast stone from their hulls for wool and grain. Skilled Stonemasons crafted buildings on Ballast Stone Estate and around South Australia from this stone.

 

Classic variety characters of blackcurrant and choc mint, supported by subtle oak. Complex, structured and full bodied. Sand over clay soils enable us to develop balanced canopies and seed ripeness.
